Silverton Camera Company was established to fill the gap in photographic services in one of Colorado’s premiere photography destinations. Nestled in the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado, we specialize in buying, trading and selling cameras from 1880 to present day. We also provide a wide range of film, including Kodak, Ilford, Fujifilm, Holga and Polaroid. Our flagship retail store in Silverton, Colorado is stocked with a wide selection of professional lenses, starter camera packages, camera and cell phone batteries, chargers, tripods, cases, memory cards, and more! Featured brands include Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Sony and GoPro. We also offer a full range of GoPro accessories.
Repair orders are processed on average within 2 weeks. Come on by today and pay us a visit, or write to us online if we can help you remotely. We are open 6 days a week from May to October, as well as open on Sundays for special classes and photo tours. We are open by appointment only from November-April.
ABOUT THE OWNERS:
Bill worked as a commercial photographer for 43 years in the advertising and corporate world, and as a documentary filmmaker. Bill has extensive knowledge of many types of cameras, films and associated equipment. Bill is also a passionate teacher and mentor and offers photo tours as well as guided experiences and classes. His current project is the production of an artbook featuring his medium-format film photographs of the beautiful and rugged Million Dollar Highway.
Bill and Kelli share a passion for photography and are excited to build camaraderie in the region with fellow photography enthusiasts and professionals. They are experts in film photography and offer the knowledge and expertise you need to get started in this endeavor or help deepen your practice for seasoned professionals.
